Hotel Elephant is a hotel game made by pauljkl on March 8, 2010. The game, as the name suggests, is a hangout in a hotel with 8 rooms.

Why It Sucks

1. It suffers from the same problem Hilton Hotels has: it is very boring, as most of the game is just booking a room, doing stuff, and sometimes booking another room.
2. Hotel Elephant has only 8 rooms, which is way too little for a hotel.
3. For some reason, there's a pool near a staircase that's brown, which is very gross considering it could've been pooped in and never cleaned.
4. There's a clothing show that's nothing but filler, considering you can't do anything in it except change clothes that are in the game. Even a merch store would've been better.
5. The water is very unrealistic-looking, as for some reason instead of having actual water, there's just blocks. Realistic water may not have been around in 2010, but the game is still receiving updates, so it shows the creator is lazy.
6. There's a casino in this game, but casinos are 18+, due to gambling and Roblox is a kids game, which could be seen as sketchy.
7. The elevator is sometimes broken, unallowing you to go faster, probably due to a broken script.
8. Even despite its flaws, pauljkl still does nothing to fix some bad things the game has, meaning that he might not care about criticism. However, the game was finally updated to this day after a powerful exploit was discovered that can mess the game. The update patched the exploit by adding 1 line of code that checked if the object is a door but however, nothing else was changed. It was the first update for 2 years of not updating.
9. Some of the rooms don't have bathrooms, only a bed and a TV, which is strange because all hotels need to have one.
10. The jetski and the boats may look like they could serve some entertainment, but after they're used for 2 seconds, they get boring easily, unallowing you to be entertained.
11. The game can be a contributor for online dating on the platform, which is not a good thing because you can get banned from the platform for it.
12. While you can earn money, it barely has any purpose, as you cannot buy anything from the shop (except changing your outfit for free), only the boats and the jetski outside, but they're still boring to use after just 2 seconds, as there's nothing more you can explore outside of the hotel and the shop.
13. The helicopter (which is also the spawn point) looks a bit weird, as its parts are not connected to each other and look like they're floating in mid-air.

Redeeming Qualities

1. The hotel's design is not too bad, and looks very great with its name written on it.
2. The rooms are fortunately not copied and pasted, allowing for some variety, but it still does not excuse the fact that a lot should be rebuild because of their lack of bathrooms.
3. Two of the rooms, room 2 and room 7 do have a bathroom and a balcony, making them the best rooms. Room 6 is close to it due to having a balcony, but for some reason, it has more beds and not a bathroom.
4. The thumbnail has a nice view at the building and the description has a basic introduction, which could mean that the game did have a good idea, but the execution was pretty bad.
